CLUB TRAFFIC: PRIDE EDITION

The rave is returning, to ease you back into bumper to bumper we are inviting you to Club Traffic, a new night at Resident DTLA. Same rules apply show up and be ready to be taken on a ride. We wanted to give our folks an alternative to out grit and grime and polish up for an evening of high octane club energy. CLUB QUEER For our first installment we are asking our queen of the club Lady Blacktronika to return to her title as the “First Lady of Beatdown” for this dance heavy trip. Akua’s (aka Femanyst) hardcore and gabber set shattered our original space into tiny pieces back in early 2019, so now we are asking her to return to get the club popping right . Expect high energy movement so bring proper gear. From her resident advisor bio: With a recent EP released on Paula Temple’s ‘Noise Manifesto', a string of international festival and club appearances, and a frenetic expression of militant techno individuality, Akua Grant sets herself as one of the most unrelenting and innovative artists working in Berlin today. Whether it’s taking from her esteemed production time under the alias Lady Blacktronika or experience growing up in California, her self-assured approach to gripping and brawling techno tension sees them perform a fast paced and fervent flow on the dance floor. Femanyst continues to bring her unapologetically bold signature sound with their new techno imprint “Dark Carousel” as an extension to their much revered DJ sets of twisted and aggressive, 90s influenced high octane electronic music. We will have a small run of tickets available at reduced price and tickets will be available at the door. This is an intimate affair so don’t wait on purchasing tickets. 9PM - 2AM to ease us back into the rave.
