After a two-year hiatus, the Tiny Desk Contest On The Road Tour is back!

After a two-year hiatus, the Tiny Desk Contest On The Road Tour is back! NPR Music is heading on the road this summer with the 2022 Contest winner Alisa Amador alongside standout Contest entrants from each city.

Alisa Amador

Hailing from Boston, Mass., Alisa Amador is a singer-songwriter with a powerful voice whose music explores jazz, funk and folk styles, all rooted in the spirit of the Latin music she grew up with. Amador impressed the Tiny Desk Contest judges with her tender performance of “Milonga accidental,” which she calls “an ode to in-between-ness – to having several identities at once, to feeling split between cultures and languages.”

Jack Rabbit

Jack Rabbit’s music finds itself at the intersection of indie, folk and pop – comfortably toeing the line between soft harmonious melodies and gut-punching lyricism. Los Angeles-based with roots that reach back to Texas and Mexico, this duo crafts songs that intertwine singers Andy and Mo’s identities and form a new perspective on love, loss, queerness, home and heartbreak.
