Watkins Music...A Soulful House Music experience through a live instrumental/vocal perspective. Heavy four-on-the-floor up-tempo grooves with soulful sounds fashioned with gospel, jazz, funk, disco, Latin, and rich vocals meshed with thick harmonies creating a sound of nu soul House/disco.

Watkins Music has launched several singles in the past 8 years displaying its unique style and vibe of Soulful House Music. Watkins Music was created and is led by drummer/producer Asa Watkins(drummer for Craig Robinson & Nasty Delicious). Asa has toured all over the world from Europe, Iraq, Asia, and Australia just to name a few. Asa was born and raised in Chicago, the birthplace of House Music. He has traveled and toured playing drums with House Music sensation vocalist/musician Peven Everett (Gabriel) from 2000 to 2005 and worked with countless DJs and producers on underground House music singles and records throughout the Chicago House Music scene. Asa currently lives in Los Angeles and has produced and released Soulful House Music singles for the past 8 years with various artists and musicians and now brings live performances of Watkins Music production to clubs/venues with a live band.
