Cisco Swank & Luke Titus with Malaya - "Some Things Take Time" Release Show

The New York Times said that Some Things Take Time is the "fun loving debut album from Cisco Swank and Luke Titus, a duo of young polymaths." A chance introduction led NYC’s Cisco Swank and Chicago’s Luke Titus into a collaboration where each brought their sophisticated multi-instrumentalist production chops to bear upon something fresh and exciting at the crossroads of Jazz and Hip-Hop. One part Beat Tape, one part Blue Note Jazz Session, Some Things Take Time (Sooper Records, 4/15/22) is an album for the Beat Junkies and the Hip-Hop Headz, the Sample Lords, Crate Diggers, Arm-Chair Rap Historians... and the jazz snobs too. The project features rappers Saba and FemDot, producer Phoelix, saxophonist Braxton Cook, and singer Malaya. Join Cisco Swank & Luke Titus in celebrating the release of Some Things Take Time with a special LA performance at Resident LA.
