Grammy Celebration for Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah and David Sanchez

As Ropeadope celebrates their 20th year and Stretch Music wraps up their 5th year, The two labels join forces with UpCal Entertainment to celebrate the Grammy nominations of Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah and David Sánchez.

Ancestral Recall is nominated for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, and David Sánchez Carib is nominated for Best Latin Jazz Album. Progressive artists from both labels will be on hand to toast Christian and David on the eve of the 62nd Grammy Awards.

DJ House Shoes will be spinning tracks from the catalog and beyond as Ropeadope premieres cuts from 20 unreleased albums due out in 2020 - tracks from Cole DeGenova feat. Georgia Anne Muldrow, Jordan Hull, Lakecia Benjamin, Paul Beaubrun, Jason Miles, Heroes Are Gang Leaders, Chris Poland, n'sawa saraca, with a special premiere of music from Stretch Music's newest artist, Alexander Flood.
